After high school, He faced a life changing decision: become an auto mechanic or a dietician. His mother’s belief in him and her willingness to sacrifice shaped his path. She made a deal: she would support his dream of attending culinary school if he stayed committed. Her faith became his foundation.
With determination, he enrolled at the New York restaurant school and graduated in 1998. That year, he completed an internship at the Marriott international hotel at One World Trade Center.
Chef Rawle’s passion for pastry led him to the Food Emporium, where he worked as a Baker and cake decorator. He later advanced to pastry look at JP Morgan Chase on Park Ave. under the mentorship of Executive Pastry Chef Sean Moley, where he honed his culinary skills and secured third place in the 2009 Aramark ACE Excellence challenge.
His talent has taken him around the world, with roles at the United Nations, AIG (lead cook), and the JP Morgan Chase MetroTech (pastry chef). He was recognized for his culinary excellence in Indonesian culture in the September-October 2022 edition of the International Focus Atlanta magazine.
In 2021 he moved to Georgia, where he worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta before becoming Executive Sous Chef at Eagles Landing Country Club, and within six months, was promoted to Executive Chef.
Chef Rawle is known for his dedication to culinary excellence and his ability to reinvent recipes and create South American dishes that celebrate his roots. His commitment to food and service reflects his belief and family, partnership, and the power of love.
His ultimate dream is to open his own state-of-the-art restaurant and catering hall period beyond culinary arts Chef Rawle and his wife Judy finds joy in transforming event spaces, crafting backdrops, centerpieces, and bouquets through their business A1 Catering & Party Rental LLC. Proud parents to four adult daughters and an elementary school aged son Rawle Jr., their family is a testament to the power of love partnership and family.
Chef Rawle’s daily gratitude extends to God for the gift of family and the culinary talents bestowed upon him. He constantly seeks to reinvent recipes and, as his business tagline suggests, tirelessly strives to “fulfill dreams and exceed expectations”.
